These terms apply to the use of this website and to scaffolding and access equipment supplied on rent by Classic Scaffolding. Specific commercial terms for your job are set out in the quotation and rental agreement, which take precedence over anything on this page.
1. Quotations
Quotations are based on the information you provide about height, area, ground conditions and duration. If site conditions differ materially from what was described, we will revise the quotation before proceeding. Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
2. Rental period and charges
Rental is calculated from the date material leaves our yard until it is returned or collected. Most material runs on a monthly cycle; short-term hire is available for ladders, mobile towers and small quantities. Rent continues to accrue while material remains on your site, whether or not it is in use.
3. Security deposit
A refundable security deposit may be required against the material. It is returned after collection, once the material has been counted and inspected, less any charges for shortages or damage.
4. Delivery and collection
Delivery and collection are charged per load each way. You are responsible for providing safe vehicle access, a place to unload, and a reasonable window for our crew. Waiting time caused by site conditions may be charged.
5. Care of material
While material is on your site it is your responsibility. Please ensure it is stored securely, not cut, welded, drilled or modified, and not used beyond its intended load. Normal wear is expected and not charged; lost, cut, badly bent or otherwise unusable items are charged at replacement value.
6. Installation and modification
Where we erect the structure, it is inspected and handed over in a safe condition. Any subsequent alteration — removing a brace, tie or board — is a modification and must be carried out by a competent person and re-inspected before use. We are not responsible for a structure that has been altered by others.
7. Site safety
You remain responsible for general site safety, for controlling access to the structure, for daily inspection while it is in use, and for ensuring that only trained people work at height. We are happy to carry out periodic inspections on request.
8. Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the rental contract. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including delay costs, loss of profit, or damage arising from misuse, unauthorised modification, overloading, or use of the structure in unsafe weather.
9. Payment
Payment terms are as stated on the quotation or invoice. We reserve the right to suspend service or recover material where payment is materially overdue.

11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction over any dispute.
